PNC Announces Two Executive Appointments
Joseph C. Guyaux to lead PNC Mortgage
Joseph E. Rockey to become chief risk officer

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: PNC) today announced that Senior Vice Chairman and Chief Risk Officer Joseph C. Guyaux has been appointed president and chief executive officer of PNC Mortgage. Guyaux succeeds E. Todd Chamberlain, who has resigned due to family considerations, effective January 31.

Joseph E. Rockey, executive vice president, will become chief risk officer. Rockey currently leads Enterprise Risk Management and the Basel Office within PNC's Risk Management organization.

Guyaux is a 42 year veteran of PNC who has held leadership positions in nearly every one of the company's core business activities. He served as president of the bank and its holding company from 2002 to 2012, and from 2005 to 2012 he was head of Retail Banking. In addition, PNC's residential mortgage business also has reported to him.

Guyaux is a graduate of Brown University and earned his MBA at the University of Pittsburgh.   

Rockey joined PNC in 1999 as senior vice president and chief financial officer of PNC Secured Finance. He became director of Strategic Planning in 2001. In 2003, he was promoted to executive vice president and assumed responsibility for PNC's interdependent business activities.

He was appointed manager of PNC's branch distribution in 2004, and in 2005, he established PNC's Private Client Group. He subsequently was selected to lead PNC's Commercial Banking business, and in 2011, he joined the Risk Management organization. In addition, Rockey has led the integration of several strategic acquisitions, including United National, Riggs National and Mercantile Bankshares.

Rockey has been a certified public accountant and certified information systems auditor. He earned his bachelor's degree from Duquesne University.
