AUSTIN, April 27, 2026 – PNC Bank announces the relocation of its Austin headquarters to ATX Tower, the new Class A mixed-use building in Austin’s Central Business District. The move includes new office space and a modern, street-level retail branch. PNC will also have crown signage on the north and west sides of ATX Tower, and the illuminated signage will be visible from key downtown corridors.
“This move puts us in the heart of downtown Austin,” said Steven González, PNC regional president for Austin. “We are at a pivotal point in our journey, driven by ambitious growth and innovation goals. Relocating to a new space represents a natural progression of PNC’s growth and continued investment in the Austin community.”
PNC’s local Corporate, Commercial and Private Bank teams will relocate to the new space in late 2026. Developed by a joint venture of Tishman Speyer and Ryan Companies, ATX Tower is a 58-story tower featuring luxury rental apartments, future-forward offices and curated retail. The tower is located at 321 West 6th Street, at the southeast corner of West 6th and Guadalupe.
"PNC Bank is an integral part of the local business community and their selection of the ATX Tower is a powerful statement about their commitment to Central Texas' growth,” said Julie Ferguson, southern division president, Ryan Companies. “We were honored to build the landmark tower they will now call home and their decision to anchor regional operations here will be a catalyst for the dynamic and thriving future of downtown Austin."
PNC’s Realty Services will develop two floors to create a modern, comfortable and amenity-rich environment that fosters innovation and collaboration. This initiative reflects PNC’s commitment to developing workspaces that meet the evolving needs of its employees, support talent acquisition and showcase the company’s bold, vibrant brand in Austin.
“We designed and programmed ATX Tower with a focus on hospitality and performance, creating an environment where leading companies like PNC can thrive,” said Tishman Speyer managing director Nooshin Felsenthal. “From its new branch at street level to the top of the building, ATX Tower will reflect PNC’s continued growth and long-term commitment to Austin.”
The new branch is part of PNC’s approximately $2 billion national investment to open new branches and renovate existing locations. PNC’s branches emphasize hospitality, offering the right balance of in-person service and digital tools to help clients achieve their financial goals. In partnership with the company’s other banking channels, PNC’s branch network works together to deliver personalized banking experiences tailored to the unique communities it serves.
“As one of the largest retail banks in the United States, our clients count on our branch teams to provide holistic support for their financial needs,” added González. “Personalized financial advice is a core benefit PNC offers and when the need arises, having a readily accessible branch is essential.”
