Linda Eremita has been named Manager of Public Finance for PNC Capital Markets, a member of The PNC Financial Services Group.
Eremita assumes responsibility for the PNC Capital Markets' division that underwrites municipal securities issued by a variety of governmental and not- for-profit entities. She will lead PNC's team of investment bankers and investment banking analysts located in Delaware, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky, and will report directly to Kerry N. Kearney, president and chief executive officer of PNC Capital Markets.
Eremita's experience with investment banking dates back to 1983. She joined PNC Capital Markets in 1992 as a vice president and was named a managing director in 1999. Eremita most recently served as the managing director of the Public Finance division's higher education group and continues to serve as a financial advisor for the City of Pittsburgh. She has been instrumental in the successful completion of approximately $2.5 billion in tax-exempt and taxable issues. A graduate of Duquesne University, Eremita also received a master's degree from Boston University.
