PNC Bank, a member of The PNC Financial Services Group, is expanding its services to small businesses with the opening of 38 business centers in the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey market. The centers are located in branches near high concentrations of small businesses, making it easier and more convenient for the growing number of entrepreneurs in the Delaware Valley to obtain financial advice, products and services for themselves, their businesses and their employees.

The centers have opened just as PNC Bank has hired 44 additional bankers in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey who specialize in the financial needs of small businesses. Recently, PNC also introduced an online banking feature allowing businesses to check their balances and transfer funds 24 hours a day.

"PNC Bank has made a significant investment across its markets in business banking centers, personnel and online functionality, demonstrating its deep commitment to helping small businesses succeed," said Joseph Flynn, senior vice president for PNC's business banking unit in Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. "At PNC Bank we understand the busy lives of today's entrepreneurs and continue to invest in ways to make their lives simpler."

PNC Bank's business banking centers have available a comprehensive array of services and products designed to meet the financial needs of small businesses, including: a business banking specialist who can help entrepreneurs find the best financial solutions for their businesses; a kiosk for quick and easy access to business banking resources and a host of other programs specially designed for the small business owner.

PNC Bank recently introduced Account Link for Business, which allows business owners to check account balances, review transaction histories and transfer money between accounts wherever or whenever they want with a click of the mouse. Business owners can also set up privileges for a bookkeeper to have the authority to use the online service.

PNC Bank offers deposits, loans, sweep accounts, insurance and online banking for small businesses. PNC Bank also offers a WorkPlace Banking program that helps employers attract and retain their employees by enhancing their employee benefits program with preferably priced financial services and financial education, all provided through personal bankers right at the work site.
