CLEMSON, S.C., June 9, 2014 – Clemson University and PNC Bank, N.A., a member of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: PNC) announced today the opening of a financial services center on Clemson University’s campus to serve more than 26,000 students, faculty and staff. It is the first PNC university banking branch in North or South Carolina.
Located in the Hendrix Student Center, the branch is staffed with one full-time consultant and a manager. The branch is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
On campus, customers will have access to three DepositEasysm ATMs located at the branch and in the Dillard building. These advanced ATMs allow customers to withdraw cash, including $1 bills, cash checks and deposit stacks of cash or checks.

Financial literacy workshops will help students and employees manage money and plan their financial future. Topics will include basic banking, credit management, savings and investing, identity protection and home buying.
Students can sign up for Virtual Wallet Student®, an online and mobile account to manage expenses, plan and save. For parents, the account has alerts, a “send money” feature and spending tracker. The accounts feature one free incoming wire transfer per monthly statement cycle and one free courtesy overdraft fee waiver during the first 12 months.
The bank has relationships with more than 300 colleges and universities and serves more than 700,000 students.
During orientation for the 2014 fall semester, students can enter to win a $500 Visa® Gift Card.* A week-long grand opening celebration will be held in September.
