PITTSBURGH, Feb. 7, 2017 – PNC Bank, N.A, announced today the appointment of Matthew Steenson to lead PNC’s Business Banking team. Based in Pittsburgh, Steenson is responsible for leading one of the largest domestic business banks.
Steenson brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, most recently serving as executive vice president, leading PNC’s Retail Segments, Deposits and Insurance Services team since its formation in 2015. Under his leadership, the team developed and implemented strategies to deliver superior product capabilities and customer experiences while growing PNC’s business and consumer customers. Prior to joining PNC in 1998, he led a mutual-fund accounting team at Federated Investors.
Steenson holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Robert Morris University and both a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Science in Information Systems Management degrees from Duquesne University.
